LMG671

For more than three decades, ZES ZIMMER has been focused solely on high-precision power measurement technology. There is more to it than simply measuring current and voltage. Conventional bench top measurement instruments are often not up to the task, especially when addressing

  • Common-mode rejection.
  • Reliable measurements for power factor in the 0.01 range
  • Sufficiently low earth capacitance to avoid interference by leakage currents.
  • Guaranteed measuring accuracy across stated frequency ranges.

The ZES Zimmer LMG671 is designed specifically to address the above challenges. The ZES ZIMMER LMG671 stands out in the market for its extreme reliability, best-in-class accuracy, and maximum frequency range, ideal prerequisites for excellent results.

LMG450

The four-channel LMG450 power meter is another advanced product from ZES ZIMMER LMG series of precision power meters, tried and tested and widely accepted by the market.

It is designed as a universal meter for the entire field of power electronics and network analysis. It can be used in practically all power electronics applications, in development and test systems, in quality assurance and maintenance. It is fully frequency converter compatible.

It can also be used for measurements in motors, transformers, conventional and switched power supply units. It is also suitable for mains analysis measurements.

Miro-F TxM 304 Substation Monitor and Logger

The Miro-F TxM 304 is a Class A Power Quality monitor and logger designed specifically for monitoring high voltage (HV) feeders and transformers within a substation or switchyard and is equipped with remote cellular or Ethernet communications, using various protocols, including DNP3, TCP-IP and FTP. Inputs are via substation voltage and current transformers.

It offers comprehensive and reliable logging and monitoring of power quality data, including Voltage Sags, Swells, Interruptions, Flicker, THD, Harmonics, Interharmonics, Frequency, Mains Signalling, Power and Energy.

Waveform and RMS captures can be generated, using various triggers, e.g. rate of change of voltage (dv/dt), sliding reference, and instantaneous voltage and current values. Voltage and current inputs are sourced from relevant voltage and current transformers, and can be scaled to reflect primary side measurements.

Alarms can be generated when set thresholds are exceeded and notifications then sent to control centres, SCADA Masters etc. WiFi communications can be used to view real time measurements, power direction and to configure the instrument. The Miro-F TxM 304 is a Class A Power Quality monitor and logger that provides timely data and notifications that help engineers optimise planning, operations, maintenance and network modelling activities. All data can be collected and analysed by AsMoSys, a CHK PQ proprietary database solution.

Emergency Changeover Unit (Three Phase)

The Miro ECO Emergency Changeover (Three Phase) instrument is a power quality logger and analyser with integrated remote cellular communications (3G/4G and optional Ethernet) and a fast relay output (switch) that is triggered by user settable voltage thresholds for dips and swells.

The relay output can then be used to initiate the desired action, e.g. transferring supply from one source to another (i.e. Three Phase Automatic Transfer Schemes). Typical applications include emergency supply changeover schemes for railway signalling system power supplies. This is where normal supply fails and the Miro ECO enables changeover to an emergency supply. When normal supply recovers, the instrument automatically switches back to normal supply. Switching times are very fast, typically 10ms (Miro unit only). This obviates the need for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) in many instances, as the fast switchover times do not disrupt the normal functioning of downstream equipment.

The Miro ECO instrument provides power quality data that can be used for investigating events and causes. All data can be collected and analysed using proprietary Citrus software or the AsMoSys (Asset Monitoring System) database solution.
